Festival ogoh-ogoh yang di selenggarakan di Yogyakarta ini  bertepatan dengan perayaan tahun baru Saka atau hari raya nyepi bagi umat Hindu, khusunya di Yogyakarta. Untuk itu sebelum ogoh-ogoh ini dibawah ke pura masing -masing dan dibakar, ogoh-ogoh ini di arak terlebih dahulu di sepanjang jalan malioboro hingga alun-alun utara yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat pariwisata di Yogyakarta. Selain itu peserta festival ogoh-ogoh ini tidak hanya berasal dari umat agama hindu, namun agama lain seperti umat agama islam dan kristiani, hal ini untuk menandakan bahwa di Kota Yogyakarta ini sangat menjunjung toleransi antar umat beragama.

For that, before these ogoh-ogoh are carried in the tamples and be burned, this ogoh-ogoh is paraded in advance in along the Malioboro way until north square, this festival aims to increase the field of tourism in Yogyakarta City. Hingga saat ini, bangunan ini masih dibiarkan berdiri oleh pihak pengelola sehingga menjadi tempat yang digunakan olah kaum muda Jogja sebagai tempat untuk berfoto.

Pengolahan citra hanya sebatas pengolahan hue saturation menggunakan photoshop sehingga castle tampak seram, seperti tak berpenghuni.

Harga durian yang ditawarkan pada acara pesta durian Banjaroya 2014 ini cukup beragam dan cukup murah, dari 10 ribu hingga 70 ribuan. Selain harga yang tergolong murah, kualitas durian ini pun terjamin kualitasnya.  Durian di desa Banjaroya itu sendiri merupakan durian jenis Menorah yang sudah di akui keunggulannya secara nasional oleh mentri Pertanian.
